update on me
hello all!
a quick little update on me, even though this is the eric blog. whatever. i'm far away too! ok... i love living downtown nashville. walking distance to so many things... it's fantastic! i've made so many new friends: it's true what they say about southern hospitality, as everyone here has been and is just so incredibly and genuinely nice. except for the meth addict who lives across the hall from me. my new roommates are awesome. i've managed to make a few dollars here and there. let's see... what else... my roommates and i throw dance/makeout parties. yes, we are all in our 20's. and by "dance/makeout parties" i mean i DJ and have a good time doing that while everyone else has a good time doing all the dancing and making out. whatever.
let's see... i've met a few nice young ladies who have been goodly enough to go out with me in the short time that i've been here. rest assured, andrea and dianna, it's nothing serious. =) i've not met anyone famous since i've been in town, but this place is crawling with country music celebs. hehe... "country music celebs." anyway...
also, my roommates' band recorded at a studio my first two weeks down here. this place is called the castle and it used to be a hideout for al capone back in the day. the day before we went in, Brian Setzer finished his new record there. everyone from Aaron Neville to Bruce Fucking Springsteen has recorded. it's a really really cool place. i helped produce (which resulted in many LOOOOONG nights) and write a couple of tracks on the record. it's going to sound amazing... i'll bring back a copy next time i come back.
oh... and now i've got a beard:
that's about it.
